Twelfth release in 'The Smith Family' series of 2-reel comedies and the family gos fishing while their house is renovated.

On a sunny summer day a Range Rover stumbles across the lava and moss down to lake Þingvallavatn. A husband and wife step out of the vehicle along with their children, fishing partner and his daughter. While the men fish and the wife enjoys the sun the children notice a man that seems to have something to hide.

A group of friends goes on their annual salmon fishing trip to relax in the countryside. The newcomers in the group really try their hand at endurance and the tour goes quickly and safely into the sink out of new and old sins.

The lives of a group of men from all walks of life and of all ages as they each experience their own intergenerational date with destiny.

The accident-prone Smith family (Raymond McKee, Ruth Hiatt, and Mary Ann Jackson) head to the beach in this Mack Sennett comedy directed by Alf Goulding. There they spoil a picnic held by "The Optimist's' Club," quickly turning the members into pessimists. This reconstructed version features racy scenes of starlet Mildred June in lingerie and having her bathing suit torn off by a fishing pole that were only included in prints shown in Germany.

The Smiths' cook, exasperated by giving up her day off in order to cook for an unappreciative guest, decides to leave her employment in order to get married. But when Mr Smith and his family set out to drive her across town to her bridegroom, everything goes wrong.

The Smith's visit San Francisco to attend a horse show only to have their precocious daughter cause some minor comical mishaps and their over-sized canine refusing to obey commands.

Determined to assert his paternal rights, Quentin leaves his small village on the Swiss border to go to Lyon to look for his daughter, now a hairdresser, who, busy with her work, hasn't been back to the village for two years. In a few days, it will be Denise's birthday, the youngest of his daughters, and, urged on by his wife, he sets off, determined to bring the prodigal son back to the family celebration. But Denise is now living off her charms.
